As the Fruit and Vegetable Quality Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive only the freshest and highest quality products. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous quality control procedures and checks during the inbound process in our DC. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of product quality for our customers! This is a great chance to advance your career at Picnic, play a pivotal role in our newest Distribution Centre and take on a new challenge!
🎯 What you’ll do
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming fruit and vegetable shipments to assess freshness, quality, and adherence to quality standards.
Investigate and address any quality-related issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with our procurement team to select reputable suppliers and ensure that all products meets our quality standards.
Work closely with our operations team to ensure proper handling, cold chain compliance, and transportation of products, maintaining freshness and quality
⭐ About you

Preferably have experience in with quality checks in your FC/DC
Prior experience in quality control processes, inspection techniques, and food safety regulations is a plus
Educational background related to food science, agriculture, or a relevant field is a plus
Availability for flexible working times; morning shift 06:00-15:00 and afternoon shift 14:00 - 23:00
Availability for weekend shifts
Good level of English; Dutch is a plus
