Night Captain FCA

Do you have at least 3 months of experience at Picnic? Are you driven by the ambition to elevate your career at Picnic? Do you prefer to work at night? Than this is your opportunity as we’re looking for motivated Junior Night Captains to join our team in our automated Fulfilment Centre, FCA! In this role you will focus on the night shift and will become part of the inbound value stream.
As a junior value stream Captain, you will actively contribute to the process by performing Shopper tasks and, at the same time, have the opportunity to play an important role in our operation. You will help ensure seamless operations by leading by example, offering guidance, and providing motivation daily to cultivate a positive work atmosphere in FCA. 🚀 What will you do as a Junior Captain?
The opportunity to be a Junior Captain will allow you to embrace a new challenge at Picnic by adding some additional responsibilities to your current shift activities. While you will mostly be performing regular Shopper tasks, you will have some extra responsibilities including training new team members, addressing questions, ensuring that the area is safe and clean, as well as leading a short stand-up for a small group. And on top of all these things, you will be responsible between 00:00 and 04:00 to prepare the FC for a new day together with a shopper team.
In order to become a true specialist, you will be working in one process area (inbound) for a longer period. You will work together with the inbound shift lead to help ensure our processes run smoothly. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge about the processes that take place every day in our FC and to display your drive to advance at Picnic!

Available for a minimum of 32 hours
Fixed 4 week schedule:
You will be working in a ongoing fixed 4 week schedule
2 out of 4 weeks will be night shifts (21:00 - 06:00)
Available on at least one weekend day per week
Fluency in English

A gross starting salary that falls in the range of 15.99 (including, 8% holiday pay).
